We took the tram to Benidorm from Alicante last week,what a great trip for lunch on a hot day.The carriages are air cooled and clean and the cost was 6.40 each return. We actually went from the station just out of Alicante as there was free and plentiful parking. The tram takes the coast route, along the beach in some places,inland in others,stops a few times here n there. If we do the trip again we would catch the No21 bus from the Benidorm terminus down to the front as it was a hot walk down and even hotter back up!
No I think it's a different tram the details for the one from Orihuela are below (it takes about 3hours)
