At least 3-4 weeks prior to departure each time. Sadly, it's been every time I've tried. This was the last time for me, so I won't bother again. Had my fingers badly burnt by Goldcar 3 years ago so always looking for reliable car rentals. In fairness, I've always had a good experience with Europcar

They are extremely popular and I give at least 3/4 months not weeks - i can see why you might be lucky with them :)

So, back out in Algorfa and as we booked several months in advance, I managed to book with wheels in Spain for the first time. I must say, the experience is completely different to the usual car hire experience.

The car hire itself was around €130 cheaper than Eurocar for the same size/period, comms were brilliant, extra adult driver free, low excess and pick up was a doddle. I left the building, met the rep etc and was on the road in 5-10mins. The car obviously isn’t brand new but it’s a decent Hyandi and so far so good.
